Programme

The 2nd announcement for the CEDA Dredging Days, including programme and registration details, is now available.

The programme consists of various components spread over 3 days, with a good mix of paper and non-paper sessions, working group updates and more; partly plenary, partly parallel. The detailed conference programme including timings will be published in February 2026. However, the information below gives you a good insight into all topics being discussed.

We start with a keynote speech on Hydropolitics by Professor Haroon Sheikh. According to Professor Sheikh, water is not just an element or a place on the map. It is also a mindset. In his keynote he will introduce us to Hydropolitics and show how it helps us understand global power shifts. An enticing start to the Dredging Days!
